3. Account Management
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Account access may be restricted or terminated if you engage in any of the following activities:

- Hacking or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or any related systems
- Violating intellectual property rights
- Using the Service for illegal or harmful purposes
- Breaching data security or compromising the integrity of the Service.
4. Subscription and Pricing

5. Payment and Refunds
Payment Methods: Payments can be made using Credit Card or PayPal via Stripe, our secure third-party payment processor. Subscription fees are typically billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis.
Free Trial: A 14-day free trial is available for all new accounts created by first-time users.
- Monthly Subscription: Refunds are available only within 30 days of your first monthly payment when subscribing to the platform. After the 30-day period, no refunds will be issued. If you cancel your subscription during an active billing cycle, you will not be charged for the next month, but the current month's fee will not be refunded.
- Yearly Subscription: Refunds are only available within 30 days of the initial payment. After the 30-day period, no refunds will be issued, and we do not offer prorated refunds for unused time on yearly subscriptions.
- Refund Requests: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the initial payment for both monthly and yearly subscriptions. To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject 'Refund Request'.

9. Service Changes and Updates

Major updates that may require downtime will be scheduled in advance with at least 7 days' notice via email.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, newledger.io and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Service, even if newledger.io has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless newledger.io, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or any third-party claims related to your content or actions.
12. Termination
newledger.io may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you violate any of the provisions of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by following the process in the account settings section of the Service. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be immediately revoked, and your data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.
13. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, strikes, labor disputes, internet or server issues, and government regulations.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which newledger.io is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms.
15. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation or mediation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through such means, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration body.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and newledger.io with respect to the use of the Service. Any amendments to these Terms must be made in writing and accepted by both parties.
